Pseudo-3D CFD Flutter of the Great Belt Bridge
The animation shows flutter and limit cycle oscillations of the Great Belt Bridge, which have been simulated using a Pseudo-3D Vortex Method with wind acting only on deck. Fifty CFD planes are considered along the deck.
The simulation is performed using Guido Morgenthal’s VXflow.
